Description

Pinta Island is home to a great variety of wild and domestic animals, here lived 'Lonesome George', a type of giant tortoise that became a symbol of Galapagos conservation. The island is a sanctuary for wildlife, with iguanas, birds, and vegetation adapted to arid conditions.
